Best of the Best Nominations 2010

Our industry has many individuals and companies who go “above & beyond” and provide excellent service, great products and training throughout the year. We would like to recognize these individuals, but can only do that with your assistance. We encourage you to share this with your employees and have them participate in the nomination process as they are the frontline people who would deal with those individuals and companies on a daily basis. There is no limit to the number of people who can nominate and there could even be multiple nominations from your location.

The F.I.O. Awards of Excellence & Casino Night was a Huge Success
Mississauga, ON – April 16, 2010

On April 15, 2010 the Floor Covering Institute of Ontario (F.I.O.) held the Awards of Excellence dinner and casino night. Awards were presented in 8 categories and winners were nominated by their peers in the industry. The evening also served to raise awareness and funds for the development of a co-op high school installer program for the GTA, similar to one already operating in Ottawa.

The nomination form was sent to all F.I.O. Members and was also available on the organization’s website at www.thefio.ca. The forms were then submitted to the F.I.O. office and were reviewed by the Awards Committee. Nominees in each area were then reduced to the finalists in each category.

LeParc Dining and Banquet facility was the venue for this SOLD OUT event. One hundred and sixty diners were treated to a lovely meal, exciting awards ceremony and a great gaming action.

Gaming chips were turned into draw tickets, which were then entered in to a draw to win one of five great TOSHIBA prizes donated by Cantrex including a 32” Flat Screen TV with a built in DVD player that was won by Jim Brady.
